Junior IT Support Officer

About the Role
- Fhemfel Group is seeking a proactive and tech-savvy Junior IT Support Officer to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will provide first-level technical support to staff, assist in maintaining the Company's IT infrastructure, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Assist in setting up user accounts, email accounts, and system access.
- Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, and office IT equipment.
- Perform routine system updates, backups, and preventive maintenance.
- Support the setup of meeting rooms, video conferencing, and other IT-related events.
- Maintain inventory records of IT assets and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with the Company's IT policies and cybersecurity standards.
- Document support requests, resolutions, and technical procedures.
- Perform other IT-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- HND or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, networking, and computer hardware.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting desktop, laptop, printer, and internet connectivity issues.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
