SEO & Website Specialist

Job Description

• We are looking for a skilled SEO & Website Specialist to manage and grow our online presence.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing our websites to improve user experience, search engine rankings, and online sales.
• The ideal candidate should have experience managing e-commerce websites (preferably WooCommerce), using SEO tools, and driving organic traffic that converts into leads and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, update, and maintain company websites.
• Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and website audits.
• Monitor website performance and provide regular SEO reports with actionable insights.
• Manage website content, landing pages, and product uploads.
• Ensure websites are optimized for speed, mobile responsiveness, and user experience.
• Perform routine website maintenance, troubleshooting, and technical updates.
• Implement on-page and technical SEO best practices.
• Work with the content and sales teams to optimize content for search engines.
• Monitor and resolve website issues, broken links, and indexing errors.
• Stay up to date with SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and web development best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in SEO, website development, and website management.
• Proven experience managing e-commerce websites, preferably using WordPress/WooCommerce.
• Proven experience in SEO and website development/management.
• Digital marketing experience is a plus
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic PHP is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar.
• Experience optimizing website speed, performance, security, and mobile responsiveness.
• Experience with website hosting, domain management, backups, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
