Job Title: Hospitality Financial Accountant Location: Lekki phase 1 Industry : Hospititality Remuneration : 300k Job brief We are actively seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for monitoring all financial data, preparing accurate statements, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations. Your role will encompass budgeting, managing tax payments, performing internal audits, and providing consultancy to senior managers for cost and revenue analyses. By meticulously managing our financial records and supporting investment decisions, you will play a vital role in our company’s success. Responsibilities Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, while monitoring budget performance and provide variance analysis reports. Managing Account Receivable and Payable Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes; process vendor invoices, track payments, and manage vendor relationships and monitor customer accounts, issue invoices, and follow up on overdue payments. carry out mobbing and deep cleaning of all the facilities of the company on a daily bases and monitoring level cleanliness of the company at regular intervals. Effectively conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, as well as provide insights into cost management and revenue enhancement opportunities. Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance. Manage and maintain financial software and systems and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with operational teams to monitor inventory levels and implement cost control measures to optimize profitability. Coordinate month-end and year-end financial closings, while ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded. Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, and provide necessary documentation and explanations for audit inquiries. Requirements. B.Sc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field 6yrs work experience as a Financial Accountant in the hospitality sector Must have knowledge on TAXATION, PAYROLL and other basic accounts Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures Solid knowledge of accounting regulations Excellent math skills with an attention to detail Time-management abilities Confidentiality Additional certification (e.g. ICAN) is a plus Qualified applicants must live with LEKKI PHASE 1, IKOYI, OBALENDE,,VICTORIA ISLAND
