Senior Associate - Finance and Account Officer

You will be responsible for managing all day-to-day financial operations, from bookkeeping and reconciliation to financial reporting and compliance. This is a critical, hands-on role that requires a proactive self-starter who can build and manage the financial function from the ground up, with the potential to lead a team as the company grows. Key Duties and Responsibilities Financial Management: Take full ownership of all financial and accounting functions, including treasury reconciliations, movement schedules, detailed transaction listings and general ledger management. Bookkeeping & Reconciliation: Perform all daily bookkeeping entries and conduct thorough and regular bank and other account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all financial data. Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports, for review by senior management. Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in developing and managing the company's budget and provide financial forecasts to aid in strategic planning. Compliance & Audit: Ensure strict adherence to all financial regulations and accounting standards. Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and prepare all necessary documentation for audits. Taxation: Manage all tax-related matters, including accurate and timely filing of tax returns and compliance with all relevant tax laws. Stakeholder Communication: Manage internal stakeholders regarding all financial matters and assist with reporting to external stakeholders (investors, auditors, regulators etc).
