Role Overview
- We are seeking a proactive and technically competent IT Officer to manage and support the organisation’s IT infrastructure, systems, hardware, software, and end-user technology needs.
- The successful candidate will ensure reliable day-to-day IT operations and provide timely technical support to employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-level technical support to staff and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, servers, network devices, and other IT equipment.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, email systems, and other business applications.
- Monitor network performance, internet connectivity, and IT infrastructure.
- Maintain IT asset registers and ensure proper deployment, tracking, and maintenance of equipment.
- Perform regular system updates, backups, antivirus checks, and basic cybersecurity controls.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly, escalating complex problems when necessary.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of IT policies, procedures, and security standards.
- Liaise with internet service providers, software vendors, and other IT service providers when required.
- Maintain accurate records of IT incidents, repairs, configurations, and maintenance activities.
- Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, and technology improvements.
- Educate staff on basic IT security, systems usage, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant IT support/administration experience.
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365, hardware, networking, and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of LAN/WAN, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, printers, and basic network security.
- Familiarity with IT asset management, backups, antivirus solutions, and user access management.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and respond effectively to urgent technical issues.
- Experience in a structured corporate, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial environment will be an advantage.

Salary
N400,000 - N450,000 gross monthly, depending on experience and suitability for the role.
