Job Summary
- We are seeking a caring, responsible and attentive Creche Caregiver to provide quality care and supervision for infants and young children in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care and supervision for children in the creche.
- Assist with feeding, changing and maintaining children's personal hygiene.
- Support children's daily routines, rest and play activities.
- Monitor children's behaviour, health and general well-being.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised childcare environment.
- Engage children in age-appropriate play and learning activities.
- Communicate observations and concerns to parents and relevant school staff.
- Follow established health, safety and child protection procedures.
- Maintain appropriate records relating to children's care and activities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of secondary school certificate; relevant childcare training is an advantage.
- Previous experience working with infants or young children is preferred.
- Genuine interest in childcare and child development.
- Patience, reliability and emotional maturity.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and child safety.
