Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities

• Review and dispense prescriptions accurately and in accordance with professional standards.
• Provide counselling on medication use, dosage, side effects, and adherence.
• Recommend appropriate over-the-counter medications and advise on minor ailments.
• Monitor for drug interactions, contraindications, and medication-related issues.
• Maintain accurate dispensing and controlled drug records.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and minimise expiries.
• Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Council regulations and company policies.
• Support health promotion and patient education initiatives.
• Supervise and collaborate with pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Participate in continuous professional development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/Pharm.D).
• Valid practising licence. 1–3 years' experience in a community pharmacy setting.
• Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, customer service, and attention to detail.
