Sales and Marketing Manager

Job Description

  • We are seeking a dynamic, commercially driven, and results-oriented Sales & Marketing Manager to lead the sales and marketing function and drive the successful market launch and growth of our product portfolio, including bottled table water, sachet water, bread, chips, and other food products.
  • This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced FMCG sales professional with a passion for building brands, expanding distribution networks, and delivering exceptional business growth.

Job Summary

  • The Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the Company's sales and marketing strategy, building a strong distribution network, managing key customer relationships, leading the sales team, and achieving revenue and profitability targets.
  • The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in establishing PANPET GLOBAL ENTERPRISE as a trusted and preferred brand across Imo State, the South-East, and other target markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue and market share objectives.
  • Build and manage a strong network of distributors, wholesalers, retailers, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, and institutional customers.
  • Recruit, lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve agreed sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage.
  • Develop and execute product launch campaigns, trade promotions, and brand activation programmes.
  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and periodic performance reports.
  • Manage key customer relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Production, Finance, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure product availability and efficient order fulfilment.
  • Drive digital marketing initiatives and strengthen the Company's brand presence across online and offline channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales Management, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • An MBA or relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 7 years' progressive experience in sales and marketing within the FMCG, food, beverage, or manufacturing industry.
  • At least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven experience in building distributor networks and managing sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success in launching and growing consumer products in competitive markets.
  • Strong knowledge of sales planning, trade marketing, brand management, and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and business development skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with CRM systems is an added advantage.

Salary
N2,400,000 annually.
