Field Technician - Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)

Job Summary
- We are looking for a competent Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Field Technician to execute installation, calibration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation and electrical systems within industrial and oil & gas facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, test, and maintain instrumentation and electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot instrumentation and control system failures.
- Perform loop checks, commissioning, and functional testing.
- Maintain transmitters, switches, analyzers, control valves, and PLC-related equipment.
- Interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Support shutdown, turnaround, and commissioning projects.
- Ensure compliance with company and client HSE procedures.
- Maintain maintenance and calibration records.
Qualifications and Experience
- OND, HND, HSE 1, 2, 3, Technical Diploma, or Trade Certification in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- 3–5 years relevant experience in oil & gas or industrial environments.
- Knowledge of field instrumentation, control systems, PLCs, and industrial automation.
- Understanding of calibration procedures and instrument testing.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and P&IDs.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Salary
N200,000 – N300,000 monthly.
