Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory control, goods receiving, storage, order fulfilment, and dispatch. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate stock records, minimise inventory losses, maintain safety standards, and lead the warehouse team to achieve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the receipt, inspection, and documentation of incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Manage inventory, warehouse organisation, stock rotation, and replenishment levels.
• Conduct regular stock counts, investigate discrepancies, and report damaged, expired, slow-moving, or obsolete stock.
• Oversee picking, packing, loading, dispatch, and customer returns to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management or ERP systems.
• Prepare periodic reports on stock levels, variances, inventory ageing, and warehouse performance.
• Supervise, train, and coordinate storekeepers, loaders, and other warehouse personnel.
• Enforce warehouse security, housekeeping, and health and safety procedures.
• Monitor warehouse expenses, minimise losses, and implement process improvements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' warehouse experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in an importation, distribution, or trading business is an advantage.
• Practical knowledge of inventory management and ERP systems such as SAP, Odoo, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and warehouse reporting.
• Strong leadership, organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• High integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Salary
N400,000 monthly.
