Brand Assistant

Job Summary

• The Brand Assistant supports the day-to-day marketing, visibility, and growth of multiple brands under the organisation's portfolio.
• The role involves coordinating content creation, supporting social media management, assisting with marketing campaigns, maintaining brand consistency, and ensuring that each brand communicates effectively with its target audience.
• The successful candidate will work across approximately four brands, supporting their individual marketing needs while ensuring that content, campaigns, and brand activities align with each brand's identity and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Brand Management:

• Support the day-to-day management and growth of the organisation's brands.
• Ensure consistent brand identity and messaging across marketing channels.
• Research industry trends, competitors, and opportunities for brand visibility.
• Assist with developing ideas to strengthen brand awareness and audience engagement.

Content Creation and Social Media:

• Develop content ideas and assist with content creation for the different brands.
• Prepare captions, content calendars, and social media posts.
• Coordinate photography, videography, and other creative content requirements.
• Ensure content is appropriate for each brand's identity and target audience.
• Monitor social media platforms and track audience engagement.

Marketing and Campaign Coordination:

• Assist with planning and executing marketing campaigns, promotions, and brand activations.
• Coordinate marketing materials, presentations, and promotional content.
• Follow up on campaign deliverables and ensure activities are completed on schedule.
• Support collaborations, partnerships, and influencer marketing activities where required.

Research and Reporting:

• Monitor brand performance, audience engagement, and relevant market trends.
• Track content performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare regular updates on brand activities, campaigns, and social media performance.
• Maintain organised records of content, campaign materials, and brand assets.

Administrative and Team Support:

• Coordinate brand-related meetings, schedules, and marketing activities.
• Follow up with internal teams, vendors, and creative partners on assigned tasks.
• Maintain a clear record of deadlines and outstanding deliverables across the brands.
• Provide general administrative support for brand and marketing activities.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Content Delivery: At least 95% of assigned content delivered within agreed timelines.
• Content Planning: Maintain updated monthly content calendars for all assigned brands.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure marketing materials align with each brand's approved identity.
• Campaign Execution: Complete assigned campaign activities within agreed deadlines.
• Social Media Management: Ensure consistent posting according to approved schedules.
• Audience Engagement: Monitor engagement and recommend improvements based on performance.
• Research and Ideas: Provide relevant content and campaign ideas for each brand monthly.
• Reporting: Submit accurate and timely brand performance reports.
• Coordination: Ensure timely follow-up on content, marketing activities, and outstanding tasks.
• Organisation: Maintain organised brand assets, content records, and campaign documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in brand management, digital marketing, social media, or marketing support is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools such as Canva.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate tasks across multiple brands.
• Creativity, initiative, and the ability to meet deadlines.
• An understanding of digital marketing trends and audience engagement.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 / month.
