Job Opening: Data Engineer Location: Surulere, Lagos First-Class Graduates Only We’re looking for an exceptional Data Engineer to join our high-performing Data & Analytics team. This role is ideal for a sharp, first-class graduate with a passion for building scalable data systems and transforming complex datasets into actionable insights. If you're a strong problem-solver with deep technical expertise and an eye for efficiency, we want to hear from you. About the Role As a Data Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing and maintaining robust data pipelines, integrating datasets from diverse sources, and ensuring data quality and accessibility across the organization. Your work will empower business decisions, enable advanced analytics, and drive innovation across departments. Key Responsibilities
- Build Scalable Data Pipelines: Design, develop, and manage ETL processes to support analytics and operational data needs
- Data Integration: Consolidate and manage data from internal and external sources, ensuring consistency and integrity
- Data Governance & Quality: Implement data validation, cleansing, and security best practices in line with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with Teams: Partner with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver impactful, data-driven solutions
- Optimize Infrastructure: Enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of data architecture
- Stay Ahead: Continuously learn and apply the latest tools, technologies, and trends in data engineering
- Python, Java, or Scala
- SQL, MySQL/PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra
- Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka
- AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms
