• SANY Nigeria is seeking a talented and motivated Chinese Translator to join our Finance Team in Abuja. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the Finance Department, facilitating communication between Chinese and local stakeholders while gaining valuable exposure to financial operations, reporting processes, and business management within a leading multinational organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate Mandarin-English interpretation during meetings, discussions, and business engagements.
• Translate financial reports, business correspondence, presentations, policies, and other documents between Chinese and English.
• Support communication between the Chinese Finance Manager and local teams.
• Assist with day-to-day coordination and follow-up on finance-related activities.
• Facilitate effective communication across multicultural teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure the confidentiality and accuracy of all translated information.
• Assist with administrative and operational tasks within the Finance Department when required.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Chinese Language, Linguistics, Translation, International Relations, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English, both written and spoken.
• 2-3 years' experience as a Chinese Translator, Interpreter, or in a similar bilingual role.
• Experience working with Chinese companies, Chinese expatriates, multinational organizations, or finance/business support functions is an added advantage.
• Strong interpretation and translation skills with high levels of accuracy and professionalism.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and develop within a finance-focused business environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) is an advantage.
