Job Description

• We are looking to hire a cook or caterer with experience in an existing buka or restaurant in local Benin cuisine.
• A plus if you have worked in the below restaurant:
  • Home and away
  • Victorious kitchen
  • Mat ice
• The key criteria we are looking out for in this role are: knowledge of local dishes, experience as a cook/caterer, and the ability to navigate the local Benin markets to source ingredients.

Additionally, our ideal candidate should be able to:

• Determine recipe that aligns with Benin taste preference
• Carries out experiments pertaining to Benin local foods to be rolled out
• Train cooks and supervisors on new food products rolled out.
• Continuous study of market & competitor research
• Observe product quality control at the branch
• Data Collection & product performance tracking.

Qualifications

• SSCE/OND/HND
• Years of experience as a cook/caterer/chef in local Benin cuisine.
• Resident of Benin, Edo State

Additional Information:

• Very attractive renumeration + 13th month Bonus + Proft Sharing.
