- We are seeking motivated and result-driven Field Sales Officers who will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, sales growth, and market penetration for the company’s Solar Home System (SHS) products across (Shelleng, Jada, Fufore, Hong, Demsa, Numan, Song, Lamurde) Areas in Adamawa State.
- The role involves direct community engagement, customer relationship management, sales activation, and supporting the company’s lease-to-own/payback model while ensuring excellent customer experience and achievement of assigned sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell Solar Home Systems and related energy products within assigned communities and territories.
- Identify and acquire new customers through field marketing, referrals, and community engagement activities.
- Conduct door-to-door sales and awareness campaigns to increase product visibility and market penetration.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, community leaders, agents, and local stakeholders.
- Educate customers on product usage, payment plans, and lease-to-own/payback processes.
- Ensure accurate customer registration, onboarding, and documentation processes.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales and collection targets.
- Follow up on customer repayments and support collection activities where necessary.
- Conduct regular market surveys and provide feedback on competitor activities and customer needs.
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly sales reports to the supervisor.
- Participate in promotional campaigns, market activations, and community outreach programs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and sales procedures.
- Work closely with technical and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and prompt issue resolution.

Educational Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of OND / NCE or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or any related field.
- 1–2 years’ experience in sales, marketing, field operations, or customer acquisition roles.
- Experience in renewable energy, telecommunications, FMCG, microfinance, or PAYGO business models is an added advantage.
- Must be familiar with the assigned Local Government Areas and surrounding communities in Adamawa State.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good sales and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet assigned targets.
- Good customer relationship management skills.
- Basic reporting and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work in rural and semi-urban communities.
- Proficiency in the use of smartphones and basic Microsoft Office tools is an added advantage.
