Key Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tests and analyses accurately and efficiently.
- Collect, process, and examine patient specimens.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with approved standards.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of laboratory results.
- Maintain strict quality control and quality assurance procedures.
- Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and laboratory protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and laboratory records.
Requirements
- BMLS or equivalent qualification in Medical Laboratory Science.
- Must be registered and licensed to practice in Nigeria.
- Relevant experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
