Customer Care & Delivery Operations Assistant (Remote)

About the Role

• Our client is looking for a reliable, organised person to help customers receive their orders smoothly. You’ll confirm orders with customers, coordinate with delivery agents, follow up on delivery issues, and keep accurate order and payment records.
• This role is a good fit for someone who communicates clearly, follows through without constant reminders, and is comfortable using a laptop to manage calls, messages, spreadsheets, and online tools.

What You’ll Do

• Call or message customers to confirm their orders, delivery details, availability, and payment readiness.
• Keep customers updated about delivery arrangements and delays.
• Contact delivery agents to confirm pickups, delivery attempts, completed deliveries, and failed deliveries.
• Follow up promptly on orders that are delayed, unreachable, rescheduled, or returned.
• Record each order’s latest status, follow-up date, delivery outcome, and relevant notes in Homebovo’s order and accounting records.
• Reconcile delivery updates with the order list and flag missing or conflicting information.
• Send an end-of-day report covering delivered orders, outstanding follow-ups, failed deliveries, and payment or record discrepancies.
• Handle customer information carefully and communicate politely, including when resolving complaints.

Requirements
What we’re looking for

• Strong spoken and written communication.
• Good organisation and careful record keeping.
• Confidence making customer and delivery-agent calls.
• Basic spreadsheet skills and comfort learning online tools.
• A reliable laptop and consistent internet access.
• Reliable power at home, including a backup plan for power cuts.
• A quiet place to make calls and the discipline to work independently.
• Comfortable handling discreet conversations about personal-care products.
• Previous customer service, dispatch, e-commerce, or admin experience is an advantage.

A laptop and reliable power supply are required for this role.
How performance will be measured

• Orders are followed up on time, with no avoidable gaps.
• Order statuses and payment records are accurate and up to date.
• Delivery problems are escalated quickly and clearly.
• Customers and delivery agents receive timely, professional communication.
• End-of-day reports are complete and submitted on time.

Compensation
Competitive; shared with shortlisted candidates.
