Trade Development & Route-to-Market Lead

Job Description
- We are seeking a commercially driven Trade Development & Route-to-Market Lead to build and expand the company's distribution footprint across Nigeria and, progressively, West Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute route-to-market strategies for Nourri's portfolio.
- Identify, appoint, and manage distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and trade partners.
- Develop relationships across traditional trade, modern trade, supermarkets, HORECA, and institutional channels.
- Identify high-potential territories, customer clusters, and distribution opportunities.
- Develop sales targets, customer acquisition, and market penetration plans.
- Support product launches and market expansion.
- Monitor product availability, pricing, stock movement, competitors, and channel performance.
- Build relationships with key accounts and major retail/wholesale customers.
Requirements
- 3-5 years' experience in FMCG sales, distribution, trade marketing, key accounts, or route-to-market development.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Economics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Strong understanding of Nigerian distributors, wholesalers, retailers, modern trade, and traditional trade.
- Proven ability to develop new territories, channels, and customer relationships.
- Strong sales, negotiation, commercial planning, and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively and build distribution networks from the ground up.
