Senior Class Mathematics Teacher

Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Class Mathematics Teacher to join its academic team.
- The ideal candidate should be passionate about teaching, capable of delivering engaging Mathematics lessons, and able to prepare senior-class students for academic and external examinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective Mathematics lessons in line with the school curriculum.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
- Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Monitor and evaluate students' academic performance.
- Identify students' learning needs and provide appropriate support.
- Maintain proper records of students' attendance, performance, and assessments.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Encourage critical thinking and practical application of mathematical concepts.
- Collaborate with other teachers and school management to improve students' academic outcomes.
- Participate in school meetings, trainings, and extracurricular activities.
- Perform other teaching-related duties as assigned by the school management.
Candidate Requirements
- HND or BSc Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably teaching senior classes.
- Strong knowledge of Mathematics and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
- Good classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to prepare students effectively for examinations.
- Professional, responsible, patient, and well-organized.
- Passion for teaching and student development.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Salary
N80,000 – N100,000 per month.
