Quantity Surveyor

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Lekki Phase One Company: Tilden Development Limited Job Mode: Full Time Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage all aspects of cost planning, budgeting, and financial control of construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure that projects are delivered within budget while maintaining quality and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents.
• Monitor project costs and cash flow throughout the project lifecycle.
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts, variations, and final accounts.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost planning for new projects.
• Assess and certify contractor payment applications.
• Manage risk, value engineering, and cost control measures.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, company policies, and industry standards.
• Prepare regular cost reports and financial statements for management.
• Resolve cost-related disputes and provide professional advice where required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Professional certification (e.g., NIQS, RICS) is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and contracts.
• Proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
