Job Summary

Golden Attraction Foods Ltd , a growing Catering and Bakery Company, is seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly organized Accountant to join our team.

The ideal candidate must be able to work independently with little or no supervision, take full ownership of the company's accounting responsibilities, identify problems early, and provide practical solutions.

We are looking for an Accountant who does more than simply record transactions someone who understands the numbers, can identify financial issues, and provides useful insights that help management make better business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and accounting transactions.
• Handle daily bookkeeping and ensure proper documentation of all income and expenses.
• Record and manage financial transactions using Zoho Books .
• Prepare financial reports, cash flow records, budgets, and account reconciliations.
• Carry out regular bank and account reconciliations.
• Monitor sales, expenses, receivables, payables, and inventory-related transactions.
• Track and analyse business expenses and identify unnecessary spending or financial leakages.
• Prepare periodic financial and management reports.
• Maintain accurate financial records and reports using Google Sheets .
• Assist with payroll preparation and other routine accounting activities.
• Identify discrepancies, financial risks, and operational issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
• Assist with tax and other statutory accounting requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of the company's financial information.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years' relevant accounting experience .
• Previous experience in the Catering, Bakery, Food, Hospitality, Retail, or FMCG industry is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Zoho Books is required.
• Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
• Ability to take initiative and proactively identify and resolve problems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and confidentiality.

Work Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• One day off per month

This is a fully onsite position.
