Senior Lecturer (Psychology)

Specific Requirements

• Academic Qualifications: First Degree, Master's Degree and a PhD in the program/department of your choice from a recognized university.
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 6 years of cognate teaching, research and administrative experience, including at least 2 years at the rank of Lecturer 1
• Administrative Experience: A candidate who has served in any of the following capacities: Acting dean of faculty, acting head of department, director or any university committees will have an added advantage
• Professional Licence / Registration: Evidence of registration with the relevant regulatory body, where applicable.

General Requirements
Prospective candidates for the ranks of Professor, Senior Lecturer, Lecturer I and Lecturer II must have the following requirements:

• A good First Degree (minimum of Second-Class Upper Division) from a recognized university.
• A Master's Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
• A PhD in the relevant discipline
• Evidence of scholarly publications in journals indexed in reputable databases.
• Registration /license with the relevant regulatory body, where applicable.
• Evidence of completion of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or exemption certificate, as may be applicable.
• Sworn age declaration or birth certificate, and Local Government Identification
