Hotel Laundry Officer

Summary
- They are seeking a hardworking, organised and detail-oriented Laundry Officer to join its team.
- The successful candidate will ensure that hotel linens, towels, uniforms and guests’ clothing are cleaned, properly handled and delivered promptly.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, iron, fold and arrange hotel linens, towels and uniforms.
- Process guests’ laundry carefully and within the required timeframe.
- Identify stains and apply suitable cleaning methods without damaging fabrics.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, irons and other laundry equipment safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the laundry area.
- Monitor detergents and other laundry supplies and report low stock promptly.
- Inspect items for stains, damage or missing pieces before and after washing.
- Report faulty equipment and maintenance issues immediately.
- Follow the hotel’s hygiene, safety and chemical-handling procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel laundry or a similar role is an advantage.
- Knowledge of washing, ironing and fabric-care procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Good personal hygiene, honesty and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle guests’ belongings responsibly.
- Physical fitness and willingness to perform laundry duties.
- Good time-management and communication skills.
