Job Summary
- You will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive history lessons to secondary school students, helping them understand historical events, cultures, and their relevance to contemporary society.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver well-structured History lessons in line with the required curriculum given by the school.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations (WAEC, NECO etc).
- Develop lesson notes, teaching aids, and assessment materials.
- Assess and track students’ academic progress.
- Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, and school events.
Qualifications & Skills
- B.Ed, B.A (History), or related field.
- 2+ years proven experience as a History Teacher.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian and world history.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Classroom management skills.
Remuneration
Negotiable.
