ICT Support Officer (Intern)

Job Summary
- We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented ICT Support Intern to assist in maintaining the organization's information technology infrastructure and providing technical support to staff.
- The successful candidate will gain practical experience in IT support, systems administration, cybersecurity, network management, and digital collaboration tools within a dynamic development organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, and other ICT equipment.
- Support the management of organizational email accounts and digital collaboration platforms.
- Troubleshoot system and connectivity issues and escalate complex problems when necessary.
- Assist in maintaining ICT inventory and asset records.
- Support data backup, recovery, and cybersecurity compliance activities.
- Participate in ICT training and capacity-building sessions for staff.
- Assist in website updates and digital platform maintenance where required.
- Prepare technical documentation and user guides.
- Perform other ICT-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Recent graduate or final-year student in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, networking, operating systems, and office productivity tools.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, and internet technologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles is an added advantage.
