- Afripoint Group Limited is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic DevOps Intern to join our Technology team.
- The successful candidate will work closely with our developers and IT team to support software deployment, infrastructure management, automation, monitoring, and system reliability while gaining practical hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the deployment and maintenance of applications.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Assist in managing cloud infrastructure and development environments.
- Monitor applications, servers, and system performance.
- Support troubleshooting of deployment and infrastructure issues.
- Assist with server configuration, backups, and system maintenance.
- Learn and apply DevOps tools and best practices.
- Maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures.
- Collaborate with developers and other technical team members.
- Carry out other technology-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
- Basic knowledge of networking and system administration.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub or other version-control systems.
- Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts.
- Basic knowledge of Docker and CI/CD concepts is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge or exposure to any of the following will be an advantage:

- Jenkins

- Kubernetes
