Animal Feed Sales Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Feed Sales Manager responsible for promoting and selling animal feed products managing client relationships and achieving sales targets within their designated territories. This role requires a strong understanding of the agricultural sector excellent sales skills and the ability to work independently.

Job Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development:

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and surpass sales targets for animal feeds.
  
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  
• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their needs.
  

Client Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers livestock producers feed distributors and other key stakeholders.
  
• Provide clients with detailed information about products including benefits usage instructions and pricing.
  
• Address client inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
  

Product Knowledge and Training:

• Stay updated on industry trends competitor activities and new product developments.
  
• Provide product training and support to clients and internal teams as needed.
  

Reporting and Analysis:

• Monitor and report on sales performance market trends and client feedback.
  
• Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  
• Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities.
  

Compliance and Ethics:

• Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant industry regulations and company policies.C
  
• Maintain accurate and uptodate records of sales activities and client interactions.
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in sales in the agricultural or animal feed industry.
  
• Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  
• Experience in selling animal feed products is compulsory
  
• Strong understanding of the agricultural sector and animal nutrition.
  
• Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft office and other computer applications.
