- Our client is seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Project Account Officer to join its Finance team and support impactful development projects across Africa.
- If you are passionate about financial accountability, project budgeting, compliance, and supporting meaningful social impact initiatives, this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures
- Prepare financial reports and support project accounting activities
- Track project receivables and support collections follow-up
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments
- Support cash flow management and financial compliance
- Work closely with programme and finance teams to ensure effective project implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- ICAN / ACCA qualification is an added advantage
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in project accounting, preferably within the NGO or non-profit sector
- Strong analytical, reporting, and budgeting skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
