- A leading Nigerian school offering a blended Nigerian and Cambridge curriculum is seeking exceptional talent.
Key Responsibilties
- Plan and deliver Christian Religious Studies lessons in line with the approved curriculum.
- Teach biblical teachings, Christian values, ethics, and moral instruction effectively.
- Develop lesson plans that promote critical thinking, character development, and spiritual growth.
- Assess students' academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for WAEC, NECO, and internal examinations.
- Foster respectful classroom discussions on religious and ethical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of student achievement and progress.
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages moral responsibility and good citizenship.
Requirements
- Degree in Religious Studies, Education, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching certification may be required.
- Experience teaching CRS at the secondary school level is preferred.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage students through interactive and learner-centered teaching methods.
- Familiarity with both the Nigerian and Cambridge curricula is an added advantage.
- TRCN certification is an added advantage.
