Bids Engineer (Proposal Engineer / Cost Estimator)

Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced Bids Engineer to join our Commercial team.
- The ideal candidate will have strong experience in proposal preparation, cost estimation, and tender management within the EPC, Oil & Gas, or Construction industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for EPC projects.
- Develop detailed cost estimates and pricing models.
- Review tender documents and identify project requirements.
- Coordinate bid submissions across Engineering, Procurement, Projects, HR, Finance, and Commercial teams.
- Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Participate in bid clarification meetings and client negotiations.
- Ensure timely and compliant tender submissions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Proposal Engineer, Cost Estimator, or Bids Engineer.
- EPC, Oil & Gas, or Construction experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of estimating software and tendering processes.
- Excellent analytical and commercial skills.
