Electrical Engineer
Harvest Feed and Agro Processing Limited
Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, and maintain electrical systems and industrial equipment.
- Work with industrial automation systems including PLCs and VFDs.
- Carry out wiring, testing, and commissioning Of electrical panels and machines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults to minimize downtime.
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
- Ensure proper operation of motors using Direct Online (DOL) starters and other control systems.
- Ensure compliance With safety standards and electrical regulations.
- Support production operations to achieve efficient and reliable performance.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation for maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5—10 years proven working experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge Of industrial automation systems, including PLCs, VFDs, and motor control systems.
- Good understanding of Direct Online (DOL) starter
- Wiring and electrical panel design.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics. and wiring diagrams.
- Strong troubleshooting, fault-finding, and maintenance skills on industrial electrical systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- COREN certification is an added advantage.
- Candidate must be available to resume work immediately.
