Professor (Software Engineering)

Specific Requirements
- Academic Qualifications: First Degree, Master's degree, and a PhD in the program/department of your choice from a recognized university.
- Years of Experience: A minimum of 12 years of cognate teaching, research, and administrative experience in a recognized university, including at least 2 years in the rank of a reader/associate professor.
- Administrative Experience: The candidate must have served in any of the following capacities:
- Dean of faculty,
- Head of department
- Director or any university committee.
- Professional Licence / Registration: Registration with the relevant regulatory body, where applicable (e.g., COREN, MDCN, ICAN, NDA, TRCN, etc.).
General Requirements
Prospective candidates for the ranks of Professor, Senior Lecturer, Lecturer I and Lecturer II must have the following requirements:
- A good First Degree (minimum of Second-Class Upper Division) from a recognized university.
- A Master's Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- A PhD in the relevant discipline
- Evidence of scholarly publications in journals indexed in reputable databases.
- Registration /license with the relevant regulatory body, where applicable.
- Evidence of completion of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or exemption certificate, as may be applicable.
- Sworn age declaration or birth certificate, and Local Government Identification.
