Project Manager / Construction Manager - Real Estate

About the Role

• We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Project / Construction Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of our real estate construction projects.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in line with approved quality and safety standards.
• The ideal candidate must be hands-on, organised, and capable of effectively managing contractors, consultants, site teams, and other project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage construction projects from commencement through completion.
• Develop and monitor project timelines, schedules, budgets, and milestones.
• Supervise contractors, subcontractors, artisans, and other site personnel.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor day-to-day construction activities.
• Ensure construction work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, consultants, and other professionals involved in projects.
• Monitor project costs, materials, labour, and other resources.
• Identify construction risks, delays, and challenges and provide practical solutions.
• Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship throughout the project.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations, health and safety requirements, and company standards.
• Prepare regular project progress reports for management.
• Manage contractors and vendors and ensure timely delivery of agreed work.
• Monitor project variations, additional works, and associated costs.
• Ensure proper documentation of project activities, approvals, and completed works.
• Coordinate project handover and ensure outstanding works are completed.
• Perform other duties related to project and construction management as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Building, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years' relevant experience in construction, real estate development, or project management.
• Proven experience managing and supervising construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, site operations, materials, and project coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of BOQs, project costing, scheduling, and resource management.
• Strong contractor and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple project activities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant project/construction management tools.
• Professional certification or membership of a relevant professional body is an added advantage.

• The ideal candidate should be hands-on, accountable, proactive, and solution-oriented, with the ability to take ownership of construction projects and ensure that work progresses efficiently.
• You should be comfortable working on-site, managing contractors, identifying problems early, and providing management with clear and timely updates on project progress.
