Farm Sales Marketing Officer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Customer Acquisition & Retention: Actively scouting for new buyers, managing existing accounts, and ensuring high customer satisfaction to secure repeat orders.
• Sales & Negotiations: Selling farm produce and processed products, negotiating prices within company structures, and closing deals.
• Market Expansion: Opening new sales outlets, visiting markets, and identifying new market opportunities for agricultural goods.
• Brand Representation: Promoting the farm's brand image and upholding product quality standards in the market.
• Reporting & Intelligence: Tracking sales activities, submitting reports, and monitoring competitor activities and market trends.
• Budget-management skills and proficiency
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Professional judgment and discretion from years of experience in doing similar jobs.
• Ability to think creatively and innovatively.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Marketing, or any related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in sales or marketing, particularly within the agricultural sector.
• Communication: Strong negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.
• Technical Skills: Basic digital marketing skills (WhatsApp, social media) and proficiency in record-keeping.
• Mobility: Ability to travel and conduct field-based work.
