Job Summary

HRLeverage Africa, the pan-African Workforce Management company, is seeking a results-driven Car Sales Representative to identify new sales opportunities, promote vehicles, negotiate deals and maintain strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate should have proven sales experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a passion for achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

•Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
•Conduct market research to identify potential customers and understand market needs.
•Engage prospective customers, understand their needs and recommend suitable vehicles.
•Prepare and deliver presentations on available vehicles and services.
•Negotiate and close sales deals while addressing customer concerns and objections.
•Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
•Ensure availability of vehicles for sales and demonstrations.
•Prepare regular sales reports and provide updates on sales performance.
•Participate in exhibitions, conferences and other sales activities.
•Gather customer feedback and share relevant insights with internal teams.

Requirements

•BSc/HND in Marketing, Economics, Business Management or a related field.
•Minimum of 2–7 years’ experience in a similar sales role, with at least 3 years within the automotive industry.
•Proven experience as a Car Sales Representative.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•Good knowledge of marketing and negotiation techniques.
•Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
•Strong presentation, persuasion and negotiation skills.
•Self-motivated, results-driven and passionate about sales.
