JOB DESCRIPTION
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records.
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and filing requirements.
- Process payroll and related deductions.
- Prepare tax returns and other required financial documentation.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify discrepancies or issues.
- Assist with internal and external audits and implement audit recommendations.
- Develop and maintain financial procedures and controls.
- Collaborate with other departments for accurate financial planning and reporting.
- Assist in financial analysis and the preparation of financial reports for management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar financial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and tax laws.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
