Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Technician

- Our client’s factory is located in the boundary between Lagos and Ogun State, along the Sango axis
- Due to increasing activities, our client urgently requires the servicers of an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Technician who has an OND, BSc, HND or Trade School Certificate with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
Functional Responsibilities
Your duties shall include but not limited to the following:
- Executing minor Mechanical repairs and maintenances.
- Fitting and repairing various factory and office appliances.
- Cutting, welding and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures.
- Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
- Troubleshooting and resolving problems.
- Preparing cost estimates.
- Understanding and applying blueprints and technical diagrams
- Using various devices, including ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners and cable testers, as well as hand and power tools
- Installing or replacing wiring, lighting, electrical controls, breakers and other electrical devices
- Inspecting and maintaining electrical systems in the factory and offices
- Adhering to state and local building regulations.
- Completing work orders on time
- Documenting the work completed and materials used
- Working with other electricians, general contractors, architects and other team members.
