Financial Reporting Analyst

Job Brief
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Reporting Analyst to support financial reporting, analysis, reconciliations, and management reporting activities.
- This role is responsible for ensuring financial information is accurate, consistent, timely, and readily available to support business decisions and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for management review and decision-making.
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies or variances.
- Support month-end financial reporting and closing activities.
- Prepare management reports and financial performance summaries.
- Monitor financial performance and identify key trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting activities.
- Analyze financial data to provide meaningful insights to leadership.
- Ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and maintained in line with company standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather, validate, and reconcile financial information.
- Maintain proper documentation of reporting processes and financial analyses.
- Support continuous improvement of financial reporting procedures and workflows.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in financial reporting, accounting, or financial analysis.
- Proven experience preparing financial reports and management reports.
- Strong reconciliation skills with the ability to investigate and resolve financial variances.
- Experience supporting month-end reporting and financial close processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial analysis and reporting functions.
- Experience using QuickBooks Online Advanced is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly.
