Hotel Accounts Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
• Reconcile daily cash, bank, POS, and online transactions.
• Prepare daily sales reports, revenue reports, and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor room, restaurant, bar, and other departmental revenues.
• Process supplier payments and maintain payment schedules.
• Manage petty cash and expense documentation.
• Assist in payroll preparation and statutory remittances.
• Support month-end and year-end financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Work closely with front office, restaurant, and management teams to ensure accurate revenue reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of HND in Accounting (Accounting background is compulsory).
• 1 – 2 years' practical experience in a similar accounting role within the hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of hotel accounting procedures and accounting software is an added advantage.

Required Skills:

• Excellent bookkeeping and financial reporting skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines.
• Honest, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Language Requirement:

• Applicants must be fluent in both English and Yoruba, as the role requires effective communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.

Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 per month.
