Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to prepare delicious, nutritious, and well-presented meals while maintaining high standards of hygiene and kitchen management.
• The ideal candidate should be creative, organized, and able to prepare a variety of meals based on the household’s preferences and dietary requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare daily meals according to the household’s preferences and dietary needs.
• Prepare a variety of local and continental dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper hygiene in the kitchen at all times.
• Manage kitchen supplies, monitor inventory, and ensure ingredients are available when needed.
• Prepare meal plans and shopping lists where necessary.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food items.
• Minimize food waste while maintaining quality.
• Adhere to food safety standards and best practices.
• Accommodate special dietary requirements and meal preferences.

Requirements

• Must possess a Degree, HND, or relevant qualification in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Must have practical cooking skills and a good understanding of food preparation techniques.
• Ability to prepare a variety of Nigerian and continental dishes.
• Previous experience working as a chef or in a similar role is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
• Must be organized, trustworthy, attentive to details, and willing to learn.
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
