Account Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documents.
• Record daily financial transactions and update accounting systems.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Process invoices, payments, receipts, and expense claims.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Support budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Prepare payroll information and statutory remittances where required.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Knowledge of Nigerian financial regulations and tax requirements.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or ATS (or currently pursuing one).
• Experience working with accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Tally.

Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 per month.
