Job title : Tax & Treasury Accountant
Job Location : Lagos Deadline : August 10, 2026 Quick Recommended LinksPrincipal Accountabilities/Objectives :
Tax Function
- Providing information for tax audits and transfer pricing audit
- Computation and Filing of WHT & VAT monthly return
- Filing of company income tax
- Ensure Tax clearance certificate is obtained timely
- Provision of documents during tax and transfer pricing audit
- Posting of transaction in the accounting software of tax GL accounts
- Assist the tax manager in liaising with the various tax consultants
- Month end Balance Sheet reconciliation
- Supervise the work of the tax accountant
- and other tasks as assigned by the manager
Treasury Function
- Managing Bank relationships
- Monthly and Quarterly Cash forecast
- Regular payments to local vendors per ageing report
- Review advance request and retirement
- Daily bank balance report
- Salary payment booking
- Quarterly bank mandate audit
- Monitoring of Bank position and reporting
- Monthly payments for foreign & local vendors
- Processing net off documents and other tasks as assigned by the manager
Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Competency requirements:
- The job holder must have a Degree (preferably in Accounting) with a minimum of 5 years’ post NYSC
- experience especially in a relevant finance function. Possession of ICAN/ACCA certificate will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of Tax environment
- Sound Treasury skills
- Exceptional analytical problem solving skills and pays attention to details
- Membership of CITN
