Laboratory Technician, Analytical

Key Purpose
- The key purpose of this role is to carry out sampling, sample preparation and analysis of raw materials, in-process samples and packaged product.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain and calibrate all inspection equipment
- Verify equipment against manualised procedures so as to achieve accurate & reliable results
- Interpret & interrogate data in order to assess equipment & operator performance
- Prepare samples and conduct analysis
- Analyse lab samples and produce results as per set standards
- Maintain housekeeping standards
- Comply with safety, health and environment procedures and legislation
- Support problem solving initiatives
- Adhere to the PPE policy and identify unsafe practices
- Communicate effectively in the workplace
- Contribute to self and team development
Minimum Requirements
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND in Biotechnology / Microbiology
- A working experience in FMCG Company will be an added advantage

- Mature disposition and flair for hard work.
