HR Generalist

Job Summary
- We are looking for a proactive and versatile HR Generalist to join our growing HR and Administration team.
- Our HR and Admin team is still being established and iteratively improved, making this a great opportunity for an HR professional who is excited to build, improve, and strengthen people-management practices from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning: Manage end-to-end recruitment, workforce planning and talent pipeline development.
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Oversee onboarding, probation, confirmation and offboarding processes, including exit interviews and related documentation.
- Payroll, Benefits & Attendance: Prepare payroll inputs and administer employee benefits. Manage leave and attendance, and ensure statutory compliance (PAYE, NSITF, PENCOM).
- Performance & Learning: Coordinate performance management, training and development programs, and support career growth initiatives.
- Employee Relations & Compliance: Serve as a first point of contact for employee queries, handle investigations and disciplinary matters, and develop and implement HR policies in line with the Nigerian Labour Act and related regulations.
- HR Operations & Reporting: Maintain HRIS and employee records, generate HR reports, support expatriate employees (work permits, visas, etc.). and manage daily HR/Admin operations and corporate activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Science/Engineering/HRM/Business Administration, etc.).
- Must have 3-5 years' HR Generalist experience in Nigeria.
- Practical knowledge of the Nigerian Labour Act, PENCOM, NSITF, and PAYE.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Results- and efficiency-oriented, with a customer-centric mindset.
- High confidentiality and discretion. CIPM certification is an advantage.
- Experience supporting expatriate workforce preferred.
- Experience in multinational/foreign-owned companies is preferred.
