Job Description
- One of our clients within the telecommunications and fiber technology industry is seeking a highly proficient Chinese Translator (Mandarin-English) to facilitate effective communication between Chinese expatriates and local teams within a dynamic operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide oral interpretation during meetings, site operations, and workplace interactions
- Translate documents, reports, emails, manuals, and business communications
- Support communication between Chinese management and local employees
- Assist with administrative and operational communication needs
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and confidentiality in all translations
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chinese Studies, Linguistics, Languages, Translation, or a related field
- Minimum of 2–5 years' experience as a Mandarin-English Translator/Interpreter
- Strong spoken and written proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or operational environment is an advantage
- HSK certification is an added advantage.
Salary
N400,000 per month.
