About the Role
- We are seeking a commercially astute and results-driven Business Manager to lead business growth and operational excellence for our private jet charter business.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies that drive revenue, strengthen client relationships, improve operational efficiency, and position the company as the preferred provider of private aviation services for high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), corporate executives, and government clients.
- This role requires a strong blend of business development, strategic planning, relationship management, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the private aviation market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporate organizations, travel management companies, aviation brokers, and strategic partners.
- Lead the sales and marketing efforts to increase private jet charter bookings and aircraft utilization.
- Develop pricing strategies and commercial proposals that are competitive and profitable.
- Oversee client relationship management, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experiences.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure seamless delivery of charter services and client satisfaction.
- Prepare annual business plans, budgets, sales forecasts, and performance reports.
- Track key business performance indicators and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Negotiate and manage commercial agreements, partnerships, and vendor relationships.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the commercial team to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant aviation industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Aviation Management, Economics, or a related discipline.
- A master's degree or MBA is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in business development, commercial management, or sales leadership, preferably within the aviation, luxury services, hospitality, or travel industry.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving commercial targets.
- Experience managing relationships with high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian business environment and luxury service market.
- Excellent negotiation, networking, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
