Junior Analyst

Job Description

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytically minded Junior Analyst to join our Investments/Finance team. This role is ideal for a corps member (NYSC) or a fresh graduate from a finance, accounting, or related background who is eager to build a career in investment analysis, portfolio monitoring, and financial research.

Key Responsibilities 

• Support financial modelling and analysis using Excel to aid investment decision-making.
• Conduct investment research and analysis on securities, sectors, and market trends.
• Analyse financial statements to assess the performance and health of companies.
• Assist with monitoring fixed income instruments and broader capital markets activity.
• ⁠Perform investment calculations and reconcile positions, valuations, and transactions.
• Analyse and visualise data to support clear, actionable reporting.

Requirements & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Currently serving as an NYSC Corps Member, or a recent graduate available to work full-time.
• A professional certification (e.g. ICAN, ACCA, CFA Level 1) is compulsory.
• Proficiency in Excel & Financial Modelling.
• Data Analysis & Visualization.
• Investment Reporting & Documentation.
• ⁠Financial Statement Analysis.
• ⁠Fixed Income & Capital Markets Knowledge.
• Attention to Detail & Accuracy.

Salary
N200,000 - 350,000 Monthly.
