English Language & Literature Teacher

Job Summary

• We are seeking to recruit an exceptional English Language & Literature Teacher to join its academic team.
• We are looking for a teacher with demonstrable mastery of the English language, strong literary knowledge, excellent communication skills and proven ability to teach effectively at the secondary-school level.

Minimum Qualifications

• B.Ed. English, B.A. English, B.A. English Language, B.A. English & Literary Studies or a closely related qualification from a reputable institution.
• Minimum of 3 years' relevant teaching experience is preferred.
• Experience preparing students for WAEC, NECO, BECE or equivalent external examinations will be an advantage.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong classroom management and student-engagement skills.
• Demonstrable ability to teach grammar, comprehension, composition, oral English and Literature effectively.
