Mining Safety Manager

Job Requirements

• MSc or Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Mining Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or another related field.
• Strong knowledge of mining safety regulations, HSE standards, risk assessment, and hazard management.
• Proven experience developing and implementing Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
• Ability to conduct site safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Knowledge of mining equipment, drilling, blasting, excavation, and heavy-duty machinery safety.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to train and supervise workers.
• Ability to develop and deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and emergency response procedures.
• Experience monitoring compliance with government regulations and company safety standards.
• Relevant professional HSE/Safety certification will be an added advantage.
• Must be willing to work on-site in Endo Village, Nasarawa LGA, Nasarawa State.
• Strong commitment to zero-accident culture, safety compliance, and continuous improvement.

Salary
N500,000 - N800,000 / month.
