Property Operations Assistant

Job Summary

• We are looking for a responsible, active, organized, and highly reliable Property Operations Assistantto join our growing real estate team in Ibadan.
• The successful candidate will support the day-to-day operations of our short-stay properties and property development projects. The role involves moving around different locations, carrying out errands, inspecting properties, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and handling various operational tasks assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities

• Run property-related errands and handle day-to-day operational tasks.
• Visit and inspect properties when required.
• Assist with the preparation and maintenance of short-stay apartments.
• Coordinate with cleaners, technicians, artisans, contractors, vendors, and other service providers.
• Purchase and deliver property supplies, equipment, and other materials.
• Pick up and deliver documents, keys, equipment, and other items.
• Follow up on repairs, maintenance, and property-related issues.
• Visit construction and development sites and provide updates to management.
• Take photos/videos of properties, maintenance issues, or development progress when required.
• Assist with property viewings, inspections, and handovers.
• Follow up with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure assigned tasks are completed.
• Prepare simple reports and provide updates on completed assignments.
• Carry out other operational tasks and errands assigned by management.

Requirements

• Must currently reside in Ibadan, Oyo State.
• Must be a male candidate.
• Must be a graduate from a recognized institution.
• The role is not limited to graduates of any particular course or field of study.
• Previous work experience is not required. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Must be physically active and willing to move around frequently as the job involves running errands and carrying out tasks at different locations.
• Must be highly organized, responsible, punctual, and dependable.
• Must be computer literateand comfortable using a computer, smartphone, email, WhatsApp, and basic office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to communicate professionally with management, contractors, vendors, property owners, tenants, and other stakeholders.
• Must be able to work independently and complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
• Must be willing to work outside standard working hours when required, including some evenings and weekends.
• Must be willing to travel around Ibadan as part of the job

Who We are looking for:

• We are looking for someone who is energetic, proactive, and willing to get things done
• This is not a desk-only position. The successful candidate should be comfortable moving around, visiting properties, following up with contractors and vendors, purchasing items, making deliveries, inspecting locations, and handling different tasks across Ibadan.
• The ideal candidate should not need to be constantly reminded to complete tasks. Initiative, organization, honesty, reliability, and accountability are extremely important for this role.
• The candidate must also understand that some property-related issues may require attention In the evenings or on weekends, depending on operational needs.

Salary
N150,000 Monthly.
